Alpine Caterers Limited is a Malawi registered company which has been conducting business in the field of specialized catering management and consultancy services in Malawi since 1989.

Alpine Caterers Limited was formed in 1989 as a 100% subsidiary of the Fedics Group of South Africa to commence a consultancy project at the University of Malawi. Business grew consistently till 1995, when the Fedics Groups management board decided to withdraw from Malawi, and the companies assets and business contracts were purchased by the Malawi management. The company was restructured and split into two separate companies, with Alpine Caterers Limited continuing its business from Lilongwe, where it has consolidated its position as a market leader in its field and steadily increased its number of contracts. Alpine Caterers Limited retains a link to the Fedics Group through a know-how and co-operation agreement, which provides it with access to the most up-to-date systems, technology and training methods within the industry.

Alpine Caterers Limited services include the provision of catering management services, administration and stock control systems, staff training, product development and procurement, kitchen design and planning. Our experience over the last twenty plus years, has provided us with in-depth knowledge and a thorough understanding of the Malawian catering market, which enables us to meet the specific catering objectives and requirements of our clients in an efficient and reliable manner.
